Old couple

I was right when I said that we are like an old couple. The funny part is that I can't remember the times when we used to go out together, when we made love for the first time, when I introduced you to my parents, when we travelled abroad for the first time, when we moved to our first rented house, when we killed our first fish, when we had our first quarrel, when we got married, when we bought our flat, when we got our first dog, when we had our first baby, when we had our second one,when we moved to a house in the suburbs, when we hosted the first Christmas as a big family, when we had our second fight, when we almost got divorced, when you got promoted, when we sort our problems out, when we had our third child, when we taught our kids how to ride a bicycle, when our kids went to high school, when our kids argued with us because they wanted to come home later, when they went to college, when they left us and moved with their girlfriends, and that's all. Now we do things together, we work on our garden together, we have tea together, we read the news together, we chat about our lifes and we feed our cats. Now we look like an old couple.
